Your mallard looks like it posed just for you! :) I liked seeing the original so we could appreciate your talent in making a lovely close-up portrait of the mallard! I like Roy's 2nd iteration as I think the whole log is visually a nice perch and I love the reflection of the mallard's orange feet. |

Wow, I love both shots! The first one is visually strong with a 'spot on' stare in those piercing blue eyes. The second one has a sharper 'head dress', an elegant, curved neck and, as Jim mentioned, beautiful bokeh. |

How nice to see a camouflaged snipe! :) You captured its signature beak well with the little drop of water on the tip. I also like the background a bit darker so the snipe can show off a bit. Good image and good eyes to have spotted him! |

What a lovely Eastern Bluebird!! Exquisite detail in the feathers. I hope to take as nice an image of a Western Bluebird.:) I tried adding +25 whites and +25 highlights just to the bird to see if it might pop a little. It's very subtle.

I love that photo!! The action is dynamic and sharp. The background perfectly showcases the Lesser Yellowlegs. It makes me want to visit Florida! It helped to know it took patience and many shots to capture the stunning image as it will keep me persevering! :) |

Thank you for your helpful suggestions, Roy! It seems I tend to overexpose a little in general so will keep that in mind. I like the more vibrant colors and the distractions removed from the sand. :) |
