You are right Frans. There is a halo on the rocks. I'll work on getting rid of it. |

Without your explanation of the subject Peter I too, had no idea what it was. I do like that the light is contained like a spotlight.
The subject itself is a sort of abstract but not completely. I'd think about playing with the edits to make it even more abstract - think grain, super contrasty, extremes of black and white. |

Your editing skills as well as your photographic skills are excellent Frans. Being able to see the city behind the veils is most striking. The colours are superbly handled. Well done. |

Glorious colours Bob and a well positioned composition which makes for a an image I'd be happy to hang on a wall in my home. I especially like the translucence of the mountains. |

Such clarity, gorgeous lighting and colour Doug. Your stacking gives crystal clear focus and the black background enhances the subject beautifully.
I like the positioning either way. |

I'm going to repeat the others Mark - the blue ornament detracts rather than adds, to the overall scene. If it is possible to whiten the snow, I would do that.
The scene itself, with its combination of trees, snow, ducks and lights is attractive. |

How wonderful to capture all swans with their wings up or outstretched Donna. Nice water action too.
Well done on freezing the wings and the water with your 1/10000 shutter speed. |
