Thank you for the colour rendering and the black and white Donna. Sooo many options to edit one image. I will now try sepia and a vintage colour look. |

Thanks for your comments Doug. I think the vignette is a great Idea. In fact, I placed a very light one on my image - clearly so light that it can't really be noticed:) Your vignette is I think, in the other direction - a bit too dark. I'll keep playing with it though to see if I can find a happy medium. |

Gorgeous colours Peter. No wonder you chose it. Mother nature is a wonderful artist.
It would be great if the tree silhouettes were crisper and more sharp and perhaps a denoise editor (Topaz, Lightroom) would help with that. I would also consider removing some of the softer and smaller foliage and branches on the ground line to get the viewer's eye straight to the two main trees.
Well done.

I do like silky waterfalls Rich and this one is no exception. A slow shutter speed works a little bit of magic on water scenes.
I also like Donna's edit of your image which changes the lighting from being a little flat to something which draws the viewer's eye into the main subject. It gives the waterfall a soft glow. |

Hi Doug, I'm just as intrigued by your original as I am by the edited image. Both are worthy images.
I'm interested to know what the original is and like Donna, I think a little more detail about the Ps process would be great.
An excellent abstract. |

A clever image Mark. What fun it must have been to photograph smoke plumes and you have selected an image which after some skillful editing has produced an intriguing image.
Thanks for sharing your technique. I am inspired to try something like this myself.
Well done. |

Oh, I like this image Donna. The blue is stunning and the front on angle is so interesting. The symmetry works perfectly and it was a good idea to change the background and brush in some shadow.
Great work. |

Hi Donna, thank you for your comments. I will try a couple of other black and white attempts because I too, though the image I sent was perhaps a bit gritty. I am attaching the original which was in colour and welcome your thoughts. |
