I find that this image tells a good story Donna with the concentration on the girls' faces, freezing their movement mid routine and the flying plaits. Add to that the rain and the water splashes and my imagination at least, is trying to form the back story. Why are they there on such a wet day? From what country do the dance and outfits originate? And so on.
The dancers are well separated, enhancing the raindrops was a good idea as were the splashes at their feet - clever work.
It is only because you told us that we know you have removed many distractions, so well done on that front and on an enjoyable image.

The first thing that struck me with this image Peter, was its over exposure...easy to correct.
Next I looked at the action and you have caught all players in an interesting moment in time, story wise. The two faces we can see give an idea of the effort required and make the image worth viewing.
Like Donna, I wonder why the numbers are reversed - did you flip it? - and whether number six is armless in which case playing the entire game is as amazing as you state. |

Another delightful flower image Diana. Even though it is wilted, it is still appealing to the eye and probably a little more interesting than a fresh version.
Crisp focus, clear lighting and good composition all add to the finished image, although I would consider cropping a tiny slice from the right so that the distance of the flower from the rhs equals that of the lhs.
I do like Donna's edit too. |

Beautiful bright colours Doug and it is fascinating how your editing tools can twist the original image.
I would like to be able to see the point of the left hand twist which I think would give the image more of a complete look. |

The colours of the rainbow make this image Mark. The clouds, especially the lower band add to the mood. The mistiness over the mountains gives nice depth and it is a shame that some of your foreground has been lost to mystery cropping.
I agree with Donna, you could crop down from the top and some from the left too.
Pretty good for shooting through a bus window. |
