That would test my skills Donna. Perhaps I have a seagull clear in another shot that I can transfer to this image. That would also test my skills:) |

I like the lit tree on its dark background Peter but the moon seems disproportionate in both size and brightness for it to work really well with the tree.
Bright moons do dominate a night sky and to me, it would make a better image if it were the same brightness as the tree or even a little less bright. If you are clever with editing you will probably be able to reduce both the size and the brightness of the moon and perhaps even shift it a little so it's closer to the tree and makes a more cohesive image. |

I want to get excited about this bridge and the location Rich but it needs something more I think.
From your images over the months, it is clear you travel a lot and it isn't always easy to get the right light, a great angle and a view which arrests the viewer's attention.
This one is a little soft in focus and there is much in it to distract the viewer from the bridge itself.
I do like the building at the end of the bridge which has the bridge as the leading line to it. By cropping the bottom quarter and right hand quarter (approximately) of the image you may create a stronger image of the bridge and the city on the other side. |

Oh Diana, you've done it again. Produced a beautiful flower image which is perfectly presented after your skilled editing.
The colours are delicate, enhance each other and the entire image is a pleasure to view. |

I always enjoy an illuminated tree or three and Christmas brings them out in spades.
Because the lit part of the tree takes the viewer's attention, the slightly messy background becomes insignificant, except for the sky colour of course.
This is a lovely capture with its background enhancing the tree as the star of the show.

An interesting and moody shot Donna. Your choice of black and white really add to it's mood. The buildings and fencing below add to the overall image and create perspective and I concur with the other suggestions already made. |

A delightful photo of two children in a relaxed and natural pose Bob.
The background colours work well with the subjects as does the blurred background.
I'd like to know what is taking the boy on the left's attention - and therein lies the story. |

I could look at this image all day Peter. It is so sharp and shows the entire body, head, beak, claws in wonderful sharpness.
Such focus - the bird I'm talking about - but your camera work as well. The background is nicely out of focus and the colours work well with the bird itself.
Yes, you could have a little space in front of the eagle for it to fly into but this image has me captivated. |

The canal is an excellent leading line Howard, which leads the viewer from front back and creates depth.
I would try reducing the exposure just a tad to deepen the colours. It may or may not enhance the overall image.
What a glorious image full of colour and movement and a superb depiction of busy canal activity in Venice.

The rich red in this image is stunning Joseph and makes for an attractive image.
As already suggested, I would crop vertical or even square as the sides don't add anything to the overall image as your model is the true point of interest. A little glow on her face would also enhance this image I think.
It is clear, focussed and a pleasure to look at. |
