Thanks Donna. I did leave the weeds because they show how unkempt this part of the cemetery is. I'll see how it looks with them removed. I'll also try to increase contrast/clarity to make the inscription more readable because it tells the story. |

Hi Peter, very clever of you to add the sunrays.
It adds interest to an otherwise quite plain image.
I too, would like to see more colour, contrast and vibrancy in this image. |

Hi Rich, without reading Donna's comments first my initial instinct was to straighten the image. If you have Lightroom, Transform will sort that out for you.
The colours of the stained glass are beautiful and more vibrancy will enhance them further along with more contrast.
Make the windows the star of the show by cropping in so that the surrounding walls do not distract from the beautiful stained glass. |

That is amazing Doug. It does look like Victorian lace as you have named it.
You have achieved a fascinating abstract. I'm not sure why you made 200 virtual copies though and am curious.
Keep playing. |

An image which takes the viewer to the airshow Mark. The pattern of the vapour trail and the clarity of it as it leaves the plane's tail are eye catching.
An overall pleasing image. |

Hi Donna, I like the overall effect of your image. It is abstract and quite striking with the soft green and dark thorns. You are right, it would probably be painful to have those thorns stuck into you.
The focus seems a bit soft and that is probably because you have done a hard crop.
It is difficult to say whether you have cropped the right way because I can't see the whole image to decide if it could be cropped differently/better. What you have achieved is intriguing. |
