I see what you mean about the bright parts Donna. And cropping (even more than I did) makes sense too. Thanks for your comments. |

I know what you mean about getting someone else to go out at night with you Donna, especially who is either a photographer and 'gets it'or a very patient other person.
My night sky photography is sparse for the same reason. |

Thanks Diana. Sometimes I don't know if others will like what I like (which of course demonstrates how subjective photography is) and I'm glad someone else finds it interesting at least. |

A nice 'pose' from the cat Peter and such contrast between those oh so yellow eyes and its black fur. Well caught.
The cat's haunches seem slightly more in focus than the its eyes which is a shame because the eyes are what draw the viewer in.
The vignette does a great job of making sure the viewer looks straight at the cat.

A gorgeous image Diana. Lovely to look at.
The black background really makes your treatment of the colours stand out.
I'd be interested to see the image tilted as well.
Thank you for the lighting details too. |

Hi Rich, good composition.
The front boat catches the eye and the boats behind are a nice leading line.
If it were me, I'd consider cropping the left of the image so the boats dominate more. It is not me of course, and you may prefer to keep it as is. |

Hey Doug. I like this, regardless of how it came to be. And yes, it does look like it was made with intentional camera movement.
It would make a great background for some other image. |

Hi Donna, what fun to play and create a ghost of yourself!
It looks like two separate figures and I like the way we can actually see through the lower tiers of the skirt to the paving and foliage behind. Very ghostlike indeed.
I suspect that if you could make it look like one figure rather than two it would be even more convincing. The head would be great as a more singular body part too (still keeping the see through).
I've no idea how you did this but keep working at it. You could even create a Ghost Gallery. |

It is a very green rainforest Howard and the greens in the image are pretty accurate enhanced by the sunlight coming through the upper tree canopy. My editing was minimal - I hit auto in Lightroom, some cropping and then off to Ps to remove my tripod which I had inadvertently left in the frame:)
Here's another image from the same day and about a km down the track from where my original submission was taken - Beauchamp Falls.

A good action shot Ricarda in very fast moving circumstances. I like the way the fringing on the rider's pants along with the horse's mane and the sand kicking up, give a sense of just how intense and fast the action was happening.
What we can see of the rider's face also shows just how intense the situation was.
Well captured. |

This image really captures my eye Napoleon. It is fascinating the see the formation of the water drops from the spinning ball and these colours work really well together.
The focus is beautifully clear and the lighting superb.
Congratulations on making an image which has this level of complexity.
It would be great to see the other colour too. |

A good capture of something you don't see every day (yet) Howard, certainly not here in Australia.
Today's camera's are incredibly sophisticated to enable a great still from a video - as are the photographers who use them. Nice work. |

Good work with the cloning Bob and if you had not mentioned that you had done this, I would not have looked for it. It is not at all noticeable in the bottom left. The top right hand corner is slightly soft but not enough to be glaringly obvious.
The squirrel's right eye is in very clear focus. Good capture. |

Great, characterful portrait Delian. The natural lighting has worked well too. |
