Great image. I think the spotty light Barbara mentions is the dappled shade under the tree which does look a little odd - but if that is the shade the tree provides then that is what it provides! I love the fact there is another tree that some animals are heading for (and others are already sheltering under) as they continue their journey across the savannah.Fab! |

Great light and atmosphere. Like Barbara, I would have cropped off much of the left hand side - the gate seems a distraction and like this the main corner post and the tree are perfectly on the two thirds line. Good image of space, and calm. :) |

I think that was very brave! Yes, the Classic is really good and interesting in its own way - but framing is always an issue with shots like this as something must always get cut off at the edges! The Creative made me stop and look, and although I agree it doesn't have the composition etc one would normally look for, I love the originality in the unusual perspective. :) |

Really nice image of a very tricky subject! You can hide the depth of field issue to some degree on the flower a bit by making it all more blurry - rather than a blurry image with sharpish edge. I will attach what I did. There are also small issues re the missing part of the beak (?) and a mark by the flower (which seem to have been addressed in the second image you posted). But still a great photo, one many of us would be very proud of! :) |

I think this is amazing! I have tries astrophotography once and got nothing useful out of it except the trail of a plane going through! The 'glow' makes it really special for me, and I enjoy the slightly understated look - so many astros are saturated and lit too brightly for my taste. This actually does look like night.... Great! |

Nice, sharp and colourful image. I like the extra gravel Butch has added, but also liked the sky - adds to the sense of space, vastness.... |
