Thanks Butch. I agree. It also gets rid of the small tree which I found odd in scale. :) |

Amazing shot. Something dark, evil and sexy going on there. Even the dice - luck, chance, fate etc....and the slightly grungy rear view mirror! Perfect. Except maybe I'd clean up her elbow a bit (I know - that's not what most people will be looking at!) and maybe do something about the line by her eye (the spot - is it? - is ok). Just a bit distracting in my mind. But great shot! :) |

I love what Butch has done with this. I struggle with landscapes too, but the fact the elongated landscape now fits the elongated frame really adds to the sense of vastness and scale. Personally, I would not have lightened the front rock so much as you did - or I would have added a bit more contrast. But basically, Butch has nailed it - from a good starting image to a really good final one! :) |

Nicely done! Not quite sure I understand the dof problem, but I get the general idea - and a very clever solution! Maybe the first wood 'join' could be a bit less sharp given the fence itself. But great job! Why does one bird always shut his/her eyes though? Such is life! :) |

Amazing framing - down to the tip of the branch and the bench. (Next time ask them to move the fountain (I think!) under the other branch! But creative and very well executed. Yes, a b it more saturation or vibrance could be useful. In moderation! :) |

I love this! Great colours and the perfect movement! It is clear the subject is a poppy, yet not a normal image. I've tried some icm with varying degrees of success and know it is not as easy as it often appears! The only thing I might suggest here would be to add a bit of twirl and/or blur to the centre of the - what otherwise might be termed - vortex. So that the smoothness continues through the whole image! But nice! :) |
