Glad you liked the suggestions! Sometimes an outsider notices different things from the photographer. :) |

Hiya - one torched in my hand waved around to evenly light the subject. Glad you liked it! :) |

OK, I know nothing about the aesthetics of film noir, despite having watched some. But as a photo I do think the glare does draw the eye - maybe it's too much, or maybe in the wrong place? If it was further behind/under her left foot it would have completed a triangle shape better rather than disrupting it? I think the shadow is great and really leads into those impossible-to-walk-in shoes, and the backlighting on her legs etc is fab. But that glare does just seem too much, in my opinion. I tried toning it down a bit and I'm not sure it is better. But see what you think. |

An amazing experience - but what a nightmare to try and capture in a photo! The guy fanning the flames makes the shot. :) I did reduce luminance in red and orange as a lot of it is - not surprisingly! - tending to lack detail. This brings some back, especially the body paint on the main man. I also brightened the left background more so the viewers' faces are a bit clearer.
Looking at it again, I then cropped on the right a little to make it easier to 'lose' the man with the camera in the background blur.... |

Great! The light and the wary look in his eyes make this shot! Fab! |

Lovely image! I love the composition as the lines and shape of the wings lead to the stunning 'face' and eye of the bird, and the background is perfect. The only tiny thing I might do is lighten a little around the eye as it is very dark at the moment. See you you think! |

Interesting shot, I like it. Removal of trees helps too. I just wonder if you had taken a couple steps to the right greater separation between the post could have been achieved so that second one doesn't align so much with the first one's mouth? But I imagine there are many reasons why you did not do this. My favourite being 'I didn't notice at the time'! But yours might be better! Good shot though. :) |
