Ta, yes it was very challenging! All good points but very limited options as to position and viewpoint and in the circumstances I was pleased to get what I got. I'll probably hope to go next year with a bit more of a clue! But what is a PJ theme please? :) |

Made me smile! I was really pleased to keep this yacht in - for composition, but also to add to the impression of many things happening, involving many kinds of boats. But thanks for taking time to comment. :) |

Thanks and I sort of know what you mean - but I could have waited all day - it is a bit chaotic, as you can see! Time is limited due to the tides which are very big here, so things have to happen pretty quickly to get everything in.....! |

I think this is really nice. Sharp enough for a soft subject - the bird - and beautifully turned to sepia. I wonder if that sprig of grass coming out of the bird's head could be removed though. That way the bird's tail and the remaining long stalk are parallel too.... Just a thought to tidy it up? |

Nice! But iso 5000? From my camera that would be a muddy mess! Seems ok here though - I rather expected the train not to be moving very fast but guess I was wrong! Great composition, excellent colour,sharp and the people are in the right places. Magic! Only one thing - the driver on the right has bright orange/red reflections in his specs which really drew my eye. I would (if I noticed them!) tone them down. |

Potentially a very interesting shot with such diverse bridges. However, much of the scene is of water which adds little. I'd crop well in - and straighten as shown. Just a thought. |

Love this image. Mega zoom and iso 8000 eh? That would be a messy blur on my camera but this is fab. Simple and perfect. |

Nice image. Great composition and with a good sense of 'atmosphere' - calm but menacing! Being mega picky, I might suggest removing those triangular bits of wood (?) which poke up in the bottom of the frame,as a bit distracting. But, as I say, that is being mega picky! |
