Thanks all. I will tinker with the angle when I send it in for our club's Macro competition in the spring! |

Interesting and creative image but I find it disconcerting that while the inverted scene is in focus, the glass is not. I wonder if a composite might have sorted this? Or just a wider dof? I don't know....
The glass also looks a tad marked by fingerprints - always a problem. Maybe try a photo of a polished clean and empty glass - all in focus and clean - then add liquid and do another image, with the same basic settings and put together in Photoshop? I use a similar setup for water drop photos and it works. Just an idea.
Nice bokeh background! |

This is a beautiful image. Maybe a few tweaks in RAW could give a bit more 'punch', especially to the dark green areas. But lovely as it is. |

Looks a beautiful scene, but not sure about the prominence of the nearest tree trunk - maybe a few steps to the left would have given a clearer view? Or maybe a few steps back so the whole tree was in the frame? The former would also have reduced the impact of that bright while fence... Maybe there were reasons these options were not possible? Great colours and light - just not sure of the composition. |

Hi Hoshedar - I'm afraid I tend to see problems with this image too. Clearly, it is a great capture - to have got it at all is amazing! But the shutter was VERY fast and the iso was VERY high and I think this shows in the photo. Also, it appears to be a very tight crop. Probably as a result of the cumulative effect of all these the result seems harsh, maybe over-sharpened. Sorry. But still a fantastic shot from a personal angle, for sure! |

Nice, clean image - good that the flags miss hiding the horizon. Great composition. |

Brilliant! Love it! Light painting is just SOOOO effective and here it is perfect. No idea what the long object is (rod?) but I don't care. Just beautiful objects, done beautifully! |
