I just made sure the histogram went all the way from white to black so yes, in effect, I did. |

Some of the images posted are really interesting from a cultural point of view! Rodeos (no idea they still happened) and vintage sports, not to mention abandoned trucks.... Tis indeed a foreign land! I did visit Atlanta once, years back, but that is my only real contact with the US. So all good stuff to see! :) |

At my local Camera Club I get teased for my obsession with 'verticals'...! |

Yes, infrared is very specific and, indeed, limited. But for some things I just love it! Great use for an old camera....! |

Bit tricky to find old truck let alone snow here in North Devon, UK! ;) |

Excellent ball capture, but not being a sports person in any way, and looking at this purely from a photographic point of view, I would suggest a close crop of the guy with the ball and the one on the bench would make a 'tighter' image. The man by the trees' face is very odd - maybe leaves in front as already suggested? |

Another lovely image but I wondered what could be done to make it a bit different... So I desaturated the green a bit and overlaid a completely white layer put at 60% opacity, and removed the white over the main flower by means of a mask. Just softer and more emphasis on the main bloom and the gorgeous raindrops? |

Hi Hoshedar - I think this photo is BRILLIANT! The pano etc is good, anyway, but the birds take it to another level. They look almost alien, or like nature not in sync with the modern city.... Great! Love it! |

Beautiful lights and great exposure. Not entirely vertical though which is a shame. If it were my image, I'd also remove the rather strange bit of reflection bottom right which does not seem to relate to anything in the rest of the photo. But nice! |

Nice image and I can't see where the car/people were removed so that's always good! Only minor suggestion? Maybe crop left top and side (same ratio) to remove the rather 'dead' space to the left and crop in closer on the lighthouse itself? I'm not sure that bit of sea horizon adds much to me, not having any knowledge or affiliation to the place. Just a thought. |

Hi Paul - I just love these flowers though I have absolutely no idea what they are! For me, the moody one is best. They look like they are really exotic with that brilliant orange colour so I'd play up on that and make the image even more moody! Here I added an image of a garden through a rainy window at 70% to reduce the impact of the green and really highlight those gorgeous blooms. I also cropped a bit for the same reason. Hope you don't mind my tinkering like this, but I did think they were worth it! Just amazing! |
