Thanks Tom - yes now that I take a second look at it I definitely might. Although we were lined up with the bridge it didn't mirror as well as I would like |

I think the fact that it was about 18 degrees they all wanted to keep their hands in their pockets. I tried thumbs only and those didn't seem as well either. I'll definitely try one in/one out next time |

Hi Ingrid -
A lovely capture (I was sad there was so much wildfire smoke my last trip to Colorado which limited skylines). I think your colors and contrast are great and the focus works well.
The cars don't bother me as it adds perspective and draws your eye to the roadway but not distracting.
I might lower the highlights in the upper left clouds from the sun just a bit |

I think the BW conversion is wonderful but agree with some of the above comments regarding crop to really draw attention to the eagle. Great capture! |

I think its a wonderfully framed photograph, what a great find while out and about!. At first I thought it was a holiday tree turned upside down. I think your initial removal of window glare worked well, but trying to darken the shadows may also help. |

I agree this is a wonderful capture. The slow shutter speed worked well for you to capture the mist and the slow ebb of the water. |
