Hi Greg -
I think the flip worked well. Great focus with a really sharp eye - this Pelican seems very mischievous. I agree that the reflection could go either way- adding more or having it be less adds tot her photo. I might crop in just a tad bit more from the top to offset the cropping of the shadow, but i like the composition and placement of the pelican within the frame, or lessen the vignette a bit so that the water seems a little brighter. |

Hi Darcy.
I think this is a wonderful photo - very pleasing color tones and my eyes wandered all around those curves! I also agree having the blurred subjects in the back gives it a little more sense of size and context. Nice capture |

Hi Karen -
I think this definitely works well for your assigned subject. I think adding the feet does help anchor the eye and gives you a feeling of being there. I echo the above comments that I didn't see the treeline at first until reading your comments. I think either lightening the shade or using a mask may help just define the edges a little more. Great capture |

Hi Ingrid- I agree with the above comments that the colors and the spacing work well. It's a very serene photo and it does make me wonder what is going on inside - maybe a nice cup of cocoa and a book! |
