14 Feb 25 Comment Hi Kamal -
I hope you're having a wonderful time in Sri Lanka and can't wait to see the images you capture there!

I love your processing with this one for the vibrant colors. I echo some of Leslie's thoughts - I actually like the original capture with some more of the background - he almost seems serene and focused with everything on behind him. If cropping in I would crop even closer to really focus on the main subject.

14 Feb 25 Comment Hi Tom -

Wonderfully done - I love the lighting and for being flat it does have a lot of depth and body to it.

14 Feb 25 Comment HI Greg -
Looks like a great place to visit. The colors are vibrant and the captures show that it definitely appears to be a fun place to visit. I echo Tom's comments that the top center either needs more contrast or swapped out for another image as the sign gets lost in the background.

14 Feb 25 Comment Hi Darcy -
A great capture with the wings wide open and all in focus. I might clone out the tiny bit of pink flower below the butterfly and see how that works. Makes me very excited to visit the nearby botanical gardens as soon as the weather turns here in the mid Atlantic!

14 Feb 25 Comment Hi Karen - a great capture- I would have probably stepped on it before I even noticed.

The two mushrooms in the foreground are sharp and I think the contrast coloring of the mushrooms works well with the dark forest floor. Although it does create a triangle and we all like the rule of three - I would like to see it without the out of focus mushroom in the background, and maybe cropping it closer or a different ratio to get rid of the green triangle in the upper right. As the horizon is not level I find it to pull my eyes away from the foreground some

14 Feb 25 Comment Hi Ingrid -
A lovely stream I'm sure in all weather. I echo that the rock in the foreground works well. I also like that there is some of the blue sky below the clouds to help separate the river from the sky.
I do wonder if you should crop in more from the left to get rid of some of the foreground willows and the less enjoyable section of the non-iced river.
