Hi Karen - a very serene image. I agree that the monochrome works well, but also like Greg's idea of bringing up the white to really highlight the snow more. |

Great capture - I love the rich red of the rocks. Agree with the above comments about the foreground tone a bit to really help bring the eye to the bush. |

Hi Darcy -
A nice image- my eye is drawn to the center but the sharpness of the entire image was nice to view the architecture of the windows also. You might try masking the light coming through the left upper window (from this viewpoint) so that it matches the window on the right? But great capture and makes me want to visit |

Great capture Greg!
A zoom of 70mm means you were closer than I would get! I like the depth of the photo with the branches above and the water below, I might try to remove the one blurry reed by his eyes, otherwise I like the contrast of layers- agreeing with Tom that the angle of the alligator adds to the photo. |

Thanks Tom!
For this specific contest they stated no vignette allowed - but I do like you edit - I think I need to add a post it to the corner of my monitor that says "did you think about vignette?" because I always seem to overlook it. This would be a much nicer print version! |
