I may try that - I'm so used to them as the defining edge of the field.

Thanks for the greens suggestion - thats a skill I'm not always comfortable with so I may try it. I'm so used to that field that I almost don't see the power lines anymore.

14 May 24 Comment Hi Kamal -
You found an interesting subject for sure! I think the composure of the water in the foreground adds to the lines of the building. I think if you can straighten it without losing the right side of the building may work, but I would leave it to include the whole building if this is not doable

14 May 24 Comment Hi Tom,

I'd get up early for this view too I think! Wonderful colors and I think the bridge angle is great. I agree with the right lower corner, and maybe more of a 16:9 crop to elongate the bridge - theres not much in the bottom 1/4 of the image so I think this would still keep all of your wonderful colors

14 May 24 Comment Hi Greg,

what a peaceful shot. I agree with the above comments to crop out just a little bit of the tree, but I do like the aspect of it in the foreground drawing the eye to the bridge. Looks like a great area to visit.

14 May 24 Comment Hi Darcy -
I agree this is a great in the moment shot! It had me wondering what the two girls are chatting about while waiting for their train. Great composure with some of the passengers waiting, and the curve to the tunnel. Your focus is great too with the train/metro also in focus, but the lighting also shows the movement of it.

14 May 24 Comment Somehow my original comment never posted(user error I'm sure!)

I think this is a very emotion provoking image. You had a great day for the sky and clouds and I think just the right amount of sun. Your exposure and colors are great. I agree with some of the above comments that although the buildings are well captured, I think a crop that focuses more on the flags would draw more emotion. (The cityscape in the background could be a great photo all on its own too)

14 May 24 Comment Hi Ingrid- what a fun image. I think your edits help make the squirrel stand out and I think B & W was a great choice. May 14th
