I can see the differences just a bit. Thanks for the suggestions. I am still working on learning the many abilities of Photoshop and layers (I mainly just stick with lightroom and basic edits) but your edits definitely make him stand out more. This was a tough one given how close he was to the wall and how similar the color shades are. I will try using these techniques more next time!

14 Apr 24 Reply Thanks Ingrid - I hadn't even noticed that darker stone. This wall has some challenges for sure, and I was glad he was not right in front of the large white caulked area when I was able to capture him. Apr 23rd

14 Apr 24 Reply Thanks Greg - yes the stick wasn't a planned part of the photoshoot but i tried to capture it quickly as it seemed fitting with his personality. Apr 23rd
14 Apr 24 Comment Hi Kamal -
A great image - I think the placement of the boat is great in relation to the net and the fishermen standing allows great context of how large a net they have cast. It is very sharp considering you were moving at the time - great capture

A great initial capture and seems to have worked well with your transformation. The colors are bright and crisp.

14 Apr 24 Comment Hi Darcy -
Great capture and I think the Black and White does well. I agree with the above comments about the cropping aspect. This would be a great wall hanging piece!

14 Apr 24 Comment Hi Karen - great capture of the bend in the road. I agree with bringing up the green a little bit but I like the sky - a great shade of blue and not overexposed. Apr 23rd
14 Apr 24 Comment Hi Ingrid- I think this is a great capture for a minimalist image. It did make me think twice about what I was looking at in the photo. Apr 23rd
