Hi Rita,
This is such a relaxing photo. I can imagine myself drifting on a raft and being at peace. I like how the angles in the dark area seem to flow into the tip of the blue. As the angles fade in the blue, the colors just start to flow for me towards the horizon, then it folds back on itself as it heads to the sky. The layers of color are so nice. I have started to experiment with ICM but I do not think I have reached this level. I enjoyed your trees as well. |

Hi Anne,
What a great capture! There are so many things to like about this photo. The hawk looking straight at you, the light behind the tail feathers, the color of the talons and their grip on that branch, and the sharpness of it all. You captured so much of the wildness of the hawk in a natural environment. Very nice work! |

Damon,
Wow! What a great photo in so many ways. The framing of the couple is so dramatic, with the ceiling at the top and the circle of light at the bottom. I love that they are positioned exactly between the doorways behind them. Tacoma in the background adds so much interest. I must admit that on first glance, it was the light and couple that caught my eye and I did even notice the cars. There is so much in the shot and I love what you captured. This "thinking out of the box" photo makes me realize how much I miss at times. I always learn something new from you and this group. |

Michelle,
What a great capture! I have not tried to photograph bubbles and I would imagine it a difficult task. That bubble is amazing as the shape is unique with striking reflections bouncing off of it. I like how the size of the bubble in the foreground dwarfs the people on the beach. What a lovely and playful photo. Welcome to the group! |

Barbara,
What a lovely photo in pinks! I love how the brighter light pulls you in and then the eye explores the softer areas of pink, until the edges fade into the background. Lovely photo. |

Hi Dean,
What an intriguing photo! I love how the car light pulls me in to explore and try to decipher the darkened areas. Yes, this would have been a great Halloween photo. So many unknowns lurking in the background. Nice work! |

Hi Rita,
Thank you for the idea of cropping at the waist. I will give that a go, along with the vignette added. I appreciate your suggestions! |
