60 Dec 23 Comment Hi Rita,
Those colors are so vivid! Great subject matter. I hope one of the others you took may have been a bit sharper as there is so much potential here.

60 Dec 23 Comment Anne,
I try not to read what other's say before I comment, but I broke my rule here. So, I agree with all of what has been considered and I do like the photo. I prefer b & w many times but the bushes in the b & w version distracted me. For the color version, I agree that the mane and the neck catching the eye. I also like the black tail line that goes up towards the mane. There is so much for the eye to capture with the different lines. I think it is a very interesting photo!

60 Dec 23 Comment Damon,
I really enjoyed looking at this image. My eyes thought the front most mushrooms would be where they wanted to land but then I immediately scanned to the one perfectly in focus mushroom with the brighter light, surrounded by all of the others. What fun! I am thinking you were very low to the ground and it paid off. Great shot with lots of interest.

60 Dec 23 Comment Barbara,
The clean, crisp edges of the stems along with the shades of brown/beige next to the purple are beautiful. The purple stands out so well. The background is nice in that it adds to the image without distraction. A very nice composition.

60 Dec 23 Comment Dean,
This is a stunning photo. I love the variety of pinks that were produced. I would have never thought these were live oaks. The contrast between the pinks and that blue sky are lovely.
