Hi Damon,
Thanks for the comments. I am not sure what exposure mode I used. I might be able to look at the date and guess, but a guess it would be. I really appreciate the details and explanations you give. I am learning so much from participating in this group. So many things to consider while shooting and so many things to consider afterwards. What a rewarding hobby! |

Thanks, Dean. I thought so. I am going to revisit some other options to try and capture the shot. |

Barbara, thank you for your suggestion. I think I will try to take the picture at a later time in the day to see if that would change the too bright of a background. When I have a chance to get up in the tree again, I think I will try your suggestion of a clean, dark background shot. Thanks! |

Hi Rita,
A really lovely image. I can hear the waves crashing as I stand on the cliff's edge, probably hoping to lean too forward and fall off! The contrast between the rocks and the water are so calming. The tiny fisherman adds a nice touch. I would be curious to see how the suggested changes impact what you have captured so well. |

Hi Anne,
I hope you are feeling better daily. I gasped a little at this photo as I was just at the museum and recognized this area. I tried to imagine how to take a picture. Well, you did it and you did it very well. I, too, love reflections and these are wonderful. I wonder how it would look if your cropped the right case out? I find that the colors and reflections of the train are what my eye wants to see and the right case may not be needed. Just a thought. Love the inspiration you have given me! |

What a cutie! And you captured her so perfectly. I am totally overwhelmed by all of your technique jargon, but hopeful I will catch on. I do know that I was struck by the pose, the one leg just a tiny bit off the ground, and the diffused lighting. Stunning puppy. Stunning portrait. I have a cat that could use your skills for capturing him. :-) |

Barbara, this is a wonderful capture of the last of your flowers. I really like how the stem falls off towards the bottom. The edges of the petals are so crisp and clean with the black background. As I ready about your experiments with lighting, it encourages me to try some of these techniques in the future. |

Dean, I love this photo. As I learn more about photography, I can really see how the lines in this photo draw the eyes up. I think it is a great black and white photo. |
