Hi Michael, It definitely tells a story. I think the viewpoint ("from the hip") works well in this case, it invites the viewer to follow the diver going down the step and jump into the water. I am not particularly familiar with the camera, did you chose the square format or did you cropped in the post? I am curious what a wider angle of view of the scene looks like. |

Wow. I learned so much from your comments above, Lance! I was back and forth many times between these two compositions. I felt the cropped version was a lot cleaner yet kept going back to the original one to "find" something. Now I have much better understanding of the difference and the reasoning. Thank you so much for the reply and editing! |
