This impressive tower, the overall exposure and detail in the building below are captivating. Additionally, the dramatic sky makes this really work. I wonder if the sunlight was facing the tower's front, how impressive that could be as well. I like this. |

This reminds me of the decades old TV commercial for "Rice-A-Roni'--"The San Francisco Treat"'. You can actually hear the bell chime that the conductor/operator rings at the end of each stop. Nice capturing a piece of the City's tradition with passengers, and to know that these trollies still operating. |

I agree Stan, the steam as well as the man create a 'story'. Thanks for your compliment. |

Many thanks Marilyn for the appreciative comments. I tried to get as many shots possible before he would leave the area. |

Thanks Nenette for your comments and complement. It's a good idea to crop the bottom as you suggested. |

The tonal range and details really makes this. There seems to be three layers of depth, the foreground stream, the rock portion and the smaller waterfalls beyond. Nice catch and I like it. |

Very interesting landscape having the rocks towering over the grounds below. The numerous houses beyond gives the huge rocks a stronger sense of scale I think. I would've somehow removed (or cover with trees the partial left house), I think it distracts from the right-hand house as a main focus. It's a very unique landscape that I find interesting. |

This is wonderfully captured that has mystic atmospheric feeling about it. The background house(s) in the upper left adds depth, height and distance I think. The mist is definitely the 'icing on a cake', and I also like that you captured this directly in front of the house and not on an angle. Paul's monochrome version is also very appealing and is a good alternative. |
