Thanks Arief for the comments. The blur in the sky is probably a bit much...I agree by just noticing it. |

Thanks very much Francois. I truly enjoy shooting in mono to create a mood(s), generally, but I'm still learning how to do it more effectively, although shooting in color is great, now & then. Yes, these are very interesting times we're facing with hopes of having more peace throughout. |

Thanks Paul for the suggestions and comment, I agree to slightly move to the left for a stronger symmetry, so maybe if I cropped a little on the right to achieve it could possibly work. This without having the two trees could make a stronger landscape, possibly. I'd love to hear the UK judges' comments. |

Wow! Thanks Marilyn for your comments. Sci-Fi is my favorite movie/TV genre to watch...perhaps too much of it. |

This has a very painterly feel to it from the textural tonal range and palette Paul. I agree with Marilyn that the foreground walls could be cropped out for a more appealing composition. Somehow the 'strong' sky seems to dominate the overall capture, but I really like the subject/content. |

Looks like you kneeled lower for this capture and does provide good interests, but I think the rock foreground distracts from the bridge. I personally would have captured the bridge encompassing everything about it because its structure is unique and captivating. Centering the bridge would be my preference also. The calmed environment while listening to the stream of water must be delightful. |

I really like the simplicity and minimalistic effect to this and I kind of agree with Paul that if the lighthouse was moved slightly to the left, possibly placing it in front of the sunset would provide a stronger composition...both on the 3rd line as Paul suggested. The dominant sky is really appealing. |

I don't want to wake up from this dreamlike capture Francois. Love the color tones and water movement that provide a peaceful calmness. The distant mountains really add to the overall mystery and beauty. |

This has very good potential Marilyn if you used a wider angle and/or panned to the left to capture more of this historic structure -OR- stepped away from it for a larger capture if it was possible to avoid this 1/2-split composition. Great potential. |

The atmospheric layers make this a very interesting capture as well as the color tones and sense of distance. It's very dreamlike...great image for sure. |
