The background was already dark but I darkened it more. This eagle was close as I took the photo from a bear blind (300mm). Last month we took all the tours this company offers, it was fantastic

Great photo, subject is in focus and sharp eye. I sometimes mask the eye and brighten a bit, just to make it stand out. Knowing it is a bit controversial, I often crop to show only the head and fish, which I feel brings more attention to the "activity" |
