Julia, great photo of the Ibis. I got this almost exact image at Florida's Orlando Wetlands two weeks ago! I thougt it might help to darken and blur the background a little to get the subject to stand out more. |

Butch, I agree with your assessment. However I have taken many Spoonbill pics where the background was "dirty". Most times Spoonbill are in a body of water or in trees. So,getting this guy in the Palms was new for me and I thought helped frame the shot. Thanks for your comments. |

Great action shot. On my screen it seems to lack enough resolution. How much did you have to crop? |

very interesting interaction. Like the low angle. Looks like the crow is a little behind the focal plane and not quite in sharp focus. |

Exellent photograph! The colors are wonderful. The soft land in the background works well. Would have included the whole wing if it made it into your frame. |

Great catch! Tracking diving birds is very difficult. Do not think I have ever used 1/6400, try to stay away from high ISOs, but the quality of the photo is wonderful. Maybe the background is a little to busy. I darkened is some and cropted a little. |

Great image, trailing water adds to the action. Even the reflection is in focus. We have a pond here in Clearwater FL that has had 20+ Ringnecks all winter. Might be a little busy. I darkened the background a little to highlight the subject. |
