I always struggle with black and white photos, I particularly like the texture of the feathers and the tree. |

Butch, I did not give much thought to the title, but the fish was definitely skewered! I had made all the adjustments you suggested, but not quite as much. I should have gone a little further as you suggested. I do try to keep my adjustment subtle so as not to be noticed by the viewer. |

Great catch! In my experience, most of the time, there is only seconds to get the shot. I did darken the background a little more, added a tiny bit of contrast and removed the green line on the bottom right (Photoshop AI generative fill). This Photoshop tool works great although I realize that its use is sometimes restricted. I do not use it to add things that are not already in the photo, nor alter the basic composition. |

Great composition. In shots like this I sometimes select the eye and add a little exposure and contrast. I am sure not to zoom in while doing this to get the right effect. I studied the grass some and I feel your presentation is best. |

Very unusual and interesting shot. I aways struggle with getting a black and white wildlife shots and this one is great. The lighting and rain are really good. I learned a lot looking up "Bence Mate's hide" (https://bencemateshides.com/) If there was one close I would surely visit. |

Great action shot Peter. And by offsetting the birds to the right slightly, it gives the impression that the right bird is getting backed up to the edge of the frame. |
