I like the kids boldness in his interaction with you. And that you were spontaneous in your response to him. You caught his smile and his big old eyeglasses nicely and I like the other person peeking in also. The white thing is weird. Whatever it is.. |

Kind of creepy , Chuck!! Like the priest in the Exorcist!! Creative when you have no other persons of interest besides yourself to photograph. It's not clear that the background is a river. Pretty interesting photo |

Hi Chuck, sorry about the data. Inadvertent omission. Leica Q2 monochrome (I was at a Leica monochrome workshop and took a break to walk the streets).. Aperture priority mode (I think) f 1.8; ISO 12500 1/16,000 sec shutter speed. Adjusted subject exposure with masking tool in Lightroom, not dramatically. I wanted the buildings in the background to clearly state this was New Orleans architecture. |

I am quite familiar with New Orleans having lived there 24 years, but I have never encountered this monument!! Though I have encountered many many homeless people there. I think the subject matter is poignant and interesting. It is gritty, and indeed that style may suit the subject matter. I think it's a really good capture and a good story . |

Clear and sharp. I find the 2 poles the women are between distracting but it is what it is. Also I would find the subjects faces more interesting without the dark sunglasses. Nice in the black and white. |

I am drawn to the woman with her mouth covered who seems to be emotionally moved by the moment. The lights are captivating and it is more impactful in black and white. |
