You did very well with this image. I am drawn more to the colored version than to the monochrome however because of all the designs. Color separates them. As for the monochrome version, I would have liked to see a bit more contrast. |

Very cool image. I find that Holocaust Museums are always very dramatic and this certainly is. My only comment is if you could brighten the person a little bit more. |

An interesting shot. I like all the leading lines and contrast. I do notice that it's not entirely straight. I would have liked to see this straight. I also notice on the left hand side some of the post processing you did, like smudges. |

I like the circular and geometric design of this. It's also pretty symmetrical. I have no issue with the crop. It probably was difficult to step back to get a full picture of the ceiling. I would like to see this on stronger contrast though. Thanks. |

Thanks Paul! I used ISO 2500, 24mm focal length and 0.6 sec. I used a tripod for this one but the bridge I was standing on shakes when cars pass or when pedestrians walk on the walkways so I couldn't make the shutter very slow or else everything is blurry because of all that movement. |

Hi Stephen - thanks for visiting. That's not the Marina Towers but I don't know what it is. |

Those darn cranes LOL. Lovely image. I would probably crop out a third off the bottom as there's nothing much down there. |

Nice one and something different from your usual black and whites. |

I love lone trees like this one because they tell very powerful stories. I love that you took this at sunset too because that adds to the story. But I agree with Paul that I would have liked more room on either side of this. I also wonder how this looks in black and white. |

Beautiful! I love all the water movement and the low clouds. And then you see the immovable rock on the right. |

6 weeks in Ireland sounds like a dream! For this photo, I think you should experiment in making it in monochrome like what Carl did, with a tighter crop on the ruins. The clouds are really nice and with the shadows you can play around with contrast. |

I like the way you rendered this in black and white and cropped in. |
