This is fascinating! All the lines, the darks and the lights make it fun to study. My eyes go around and around the dark upper parts of the bridge. Well done. Leave the car in, take it out? I don't know, but I do like that your car is parked on an angle, underscoring the inability to drive across because of its age! |

Good choice to go mono. Its funny how old things evolve from junky discards to interesting to worth saving because of their age. Its all a matter of time! |

I love her t-shirt, because this is the start of beautiful dumplings! A funny juxtaposition! I would love to see, in addition to this, a close up of just her floury hands at work! And if you could send us all a dumpling or two, I think we would like your photo even better. Seriously, it is a sweet photo of her and you have captured that well. |

Yes, I tend to agree with your feelings on black backgrounds. I've seen some I like, but I am beginning to lean toward more natural backgrounds. Of course, that works better in color perhaps. But its all fun to play with! Thanks! |

So the bokeh was a fun feature. I toyed with the idea of eliminating some of it, I did tone down some and eliminate a few, but the ones I left were fun for me. Thanks for your comment! |

Your suggestion for the solid black background is a good one, but I have used that before and wanted to try something new. Room at the top? Great idea, will keep that in mind for next year, when they bloom again! |
