29 Mar 26 Reply Thank you - improved it more as you see above. Mar 11th
29 Mar 26 Reply I took several suggestions from group and did a tighter crop. I think there is now more focus on the kitten. Mar 11th
29 Mar 26 Reply The object on the right side was a bowl with water. Definitely looks better without it. Mar 11th
29 Mar 26 Reply I do like the tighter crop on the bottom, too. Mar 11th
29 Mar 26 Reply Thank you for your suggestions, I re-cropped my image and darkened the bag in the background. Mar 11th
29 Mar 26 Comment Beautiful, sharp image. Definitely conveys the early morning peacefulness. Sorry to hearing you are leaving the group. Mar 11th
29 Mar 26 Comment Bob, thanks for clarifying that this wasn't a competition shot-just a moment of pure, unfiltered photographer frustration. ????????
At that point, the only sensible move was to take the photo and turn the moment into something fun instead of furious. So… I leaned into it and made an abstract out of it for your viewing pleasure.
Proof that even a grumpy shutter click can become art if you squint at it the right way. ????

29 Mar 26 Comment I really like the blue tones in your winter scene-you can almost feel the chill in the air. The atmosphere is very effective. I wonder if adding a small focal element might help hold the viewer's attention even more, while still keeping that beautiful sense of cold and quiet. Mar 11th
29 Mar 26 Comment At first, I found your image a bit puzzling because I couldn't immediately tell what I was looking at. But after spending some time with it, I realized that the trees form the horizon line and the scene is actually a sunset across the lake with an icy shoreline in the foreground. Once that clicked, I really appreciated how unique the perspective is. It's a very creative and distinctive capture that makes the viewer pause and look a little deeper. Mar 11th
29 Mar 26 Comment What a beautiful creation out of a simple petal. It is amazing the images people come up with. We are so fortunate to have such amazing technology and be able to enjoy this great hobby. Mar 11th
29 Mar 26 Comment In my opinion, you have a fabulous image. I also like all the edits everyone else has done, especially the one with the blue tones (I think Bob submitted it). I can see using the darker area, above the white, as a texture in a future image. Mar 11th

52 Mar 26 Comment Your darker image is better, thanks for your explanation. It is a beautiful nature shot. Mar 12th
52 Mar 26 Comment Your image tells a great story. Unfortunately, many people never see such beauty in nature. I think your image would be stronger if you left more room in front of the Spoonbill. I took your original image and cropped it down, and removed some of the haze. What do you think? Mar 11th
