Hi Jerry, thanks for taking a look. The white stuff isn't what you are suggesting. This nest is in the lower branch of a tree where there are many nesting birds and, unfortunately, is catching many of the droppings from above. |

Thank you for your kind comments. Was lucky to be at the right level to capture this pose. Usually, the nests are too high, or too far away to capture the bird or babies without twigs being in the way! |

I'm guessing the branch really helped to support the nest over the water and gave the cormorant easy assess to the water. Unfortunately, we were only in the area for one day, so the opportunity didn't come up for feeding time. |

I was very lucky to catch this image as it was the first time at this park. Usually only see cormorants diving for fish. |

Great capture of a eaglet. As Isaac indicates, always watch your background. take a few steps away for a different view. Sometimes we get so excited to see something we forget to look at the background so we must resort to cropping out like Isaac or Tom did. |

Thank you for presenting a bird not from this area. Always nice to see a species from another area. Great action shot, I'm sure the eagle was concentrating on his meal that he was not aware you were taking the shot! Well done. |

Great story telling image. Very sharp. Background color fades out nicely. |
