Thanks Jim, will certainly look into this. Definitely like having the choice of using the sliders as sometimes auto goes a bit overboard. Again, thank you for the suggestion as I had not looked for that filter. |

Jim, I like what you did to the feathers. I hate to admit I do very little editing - only use Photo Shop Elements and shoot in jpeg. I know I've probably grown stagnant not going to Lightroom or other programs or not shooting in raw but just don't have the motivation to learn it yet! Change is hard for some of us. |

Thanks for the advice. Will try, I'm visualizing and can see it will make a better image with more focus on the egret. |

Thank you Isaac. It was a beautiful day. I am perplex as to why some of the Snowy have red around their eyes and others have yellow. Is it perhaps a mating indicator(male/female)? Do you know? |

Jim I like your Roseates but agree with Isaac they needed sogme saturation. If you ever get the opportunity come to Saint Augustine Florida in April. Go to the Saint Augustine Alligator Farm which is loaded with all kinds of birds with their babies, the spoonbills will be plentiful. A boardwalk goes through the middle of the rookery and the birds nests are arms length away. It is quite amazing. |

Welcome to Group 15. Excellent image. The blackbird and cattail are extremely sharp. Excellent crop. Love the blurred coloring of the background which accentuates the coloring of the blackbird. You might consider cloning out the white circles a third of the way down in the image. Looking forward to seeing more of your work. |
