I agree the cropped version does bring out the details of the duck against the beautiful color of the water. Even though your duck was quite far away you still managed to capture the details nicely. |

Sarita, the lighting accentuates the mood and story telling of the image. I like the added space you gave the image, too. The sharpness and coloring of the eye just draws you into the picture to look at the fish he has captured. Great job. |

I agree Isaac's changes did bring out the depth of the colors. A great capture as these birds love to dive under and are very quick. Had to be ready for the shot! |

Welcome to our group 15. Your image has such great visual impact. It is very sharp and the colors are terrific. It is great that your are able to share different birds that we don't see in the United States. |

Wow a lot of action going on here. I have witnessed three or four birds trying to get in mom's mouth at the same time, feeding time is frantic. It is amazing that you were able to get such sharp focus! Bright, rich colors and a beautiful natural story. |

Jim, I like what you did. I do not do too much editing. Only use Photo Shop Elements and am still learning how to make some of those adjustments. Do not shoot in raw, but I believe I did use a feature to dehaze some, maybe not enough. |

Saint Augustine is a great place in the spring to find many birds with chicks to photograph. There are so many, sometimes it is hard to get clear shots without getting branches or parts of another birds. It is a challenge that we love to come back to year after year. |
