I like the soften effector the background as well. Still a great catch just before the heron took off. You can see he was ready by the position of the foot pushing off the ground. The full extension of the wings shows such magnificent beauty of the feather structure. |

Great story telling image. Very sharp, nice exposure. Very minor, small distraction behind the tallest duckling draws my eye upward. |

You are right. I am glad you pointed out a clone in the image. I went back to my original and found a leave floating on the surface of the water. I did a terrible job on cloning. Just learning to use the mouse for images, makes a major difference compared to the touch pad. |

Please don't change the type of images you put in for the group. I, myself, put in a very safe image for the first one as I'm sure others probably did too until we are a little more confident in displaying our work. |

Your image tells a great story, with the parent hawk observing the progress the chicks are making. Sharp catch light in the parent hawk and fine details. If I did anything, I would tone down the white bark on the tree and the white area behind the chick on the right. Great catch! |

I like the crop with more room in front of the Egret. Great position of the wings showing motion. The eye is tack sharp. Very graceful image. I put your image in Photo Shop Elements and under Enhance hit adjust auto haze. This brought out more detail in the body. Then I went back to Enhance again and went to Adjust Lighting, clicked on Brightness and adjusted slider. This brought out more of the detail in the feathers. |
