Hi, Andrew,
Waterfall is one of my favorite photography subjects! It's rare to see three streams together.
I know you may not be able to get the best angle facing the biggest fall in this image. I recalled I had that problem many times before. What can we do?! We photograph because we travel! A photograph is a fond memory! |

Hi, Julie,
Thank you, I will crop it.
I tried catching them flying, very difficult. A few were ok, but the background was usually the roof, not very nice. Haha |

Julie,
Happy New Year! I wish you win the competition.
I like Mike's cropped image better, which brings us to anticipate the action by the gecko.
Nicely done, as always. |

Hi, Don,
When I first saw the picture, I was wondering why you took the picture. Now I know. What a beautiful memory of your mom. She was a lucky woman! Thanks for sharing them with us.
I thought the burgundy background on one side is the lighter side; while the black background is the darker (as you can see the shadow on the green sweater). At any rate, burgundy wood is pretty elegant.

Shari,
Your post-processing skills are superb! I really like the gentle light, bright colors of red roses among the aged wood logs, and the carving of JJk TRK in the picture evoking feeling of nostalgia.
Nicely done. You are professional. |

Hi, Julie,
I have read about light painting, but never tried it. This is amazing and beautiful. I guess it involves long exposure. May I ask you about the shutter speed, aperture, ISO for this photo? Thank you. |

Hi, Catherine,
What a lovely photo. I've never seen a gull chick. The color of the sky is very supportive of the gull feather. It's just very soothing to see it. Nice job.
