Hi, Catherine,
Nice catch on a moving boat! I never shoot anything with 1/3200 shutter speed, now I learned!
I like the picture which gives an authentic view of American life. If you crop the right hand corner, the picture becomes simpler (more focused) but less interesting, I think. A trade-off. |

Thanks for sharing this picture with rooms for imaginations. Two colleagues met on the way to work? Two lovers sat drinking coffee before parting their ways? A couple having a quarrel in the park?
I think any picture is interesting if it lets your imagination run free. In downtown Paris, anything can happen. |

Hi, Julie,
I really like this pair of protea flowers; the colors are striking and the light is perfect; not to mention they are one of my favorite flowers.
I think you are wise to apply focus stacking; to keep both of them so sharp. I actually like your background which is subtle and gives nice contrast. I wouldn't change much.

Hello Sharon,
Thanks for the warning. I never submit my photo for competition; so I wouldn't have known.
It's a lot of fun to photograph animals in Africa; just lots of them around and they are all healthy and beautiful; full of energy.
