Your flower photos are the most beautiful I have seen. This one is really amazing, the colors are so perfect together; it's like a museum piece.
I learn something today, you can actually make a painting out of a photo. Thank you for sharing. |

Thank you, Henry. You are absolutely correct. The only problem was I forgot to bring the tripod off the bus. I had to hold my camera on a fence and hold my breath to be very still. |

Hi,Catherine,
You are very observant; this is not a tourist spot for Mt. Fuji. We found the picture in Google map; thought the location is very promising. We were not very well prepared since there was no parking space for a bus nor any store open nearby. Though we were hungry, cold, and in need of a toilet after the photography session, I am very glad we found this place. |

Thank you…Janice. I love that torii gate, and tried to get it more visible. I cropped the photo to make the torii bigger, but Mount Fuji becomes bigger too; it seems to me a different photo altogether. Anyway, I chose this version to see more harbor and set Mount Fuji as background.
I learned a lot from you all since I joined this group.especially about what makes a good picture.. I am not a diligent photographer though, I only take photos when I travel. |
