Hi, Andrew,
I am not very good at taking street photos. I see you love the locomotives. I learn to appreciate them more with your sharing.
I probably would crop out the railroad crossing portion or let the locomotive move into the crossing to almost tough the automobile.
Thanks for sharing. |

Hi, Catherine,
I am impressed by your skills to make this picture. I love the faol's hairs have a sunset hues in it.
I would have attempted to lighten the faol up a bit, but I understand your dilemma. The story may be more important than the technique. Thanks for sharing the beautiful image, always love your compositions.

Hi, Janice,
Haha, I kept looking at this blonde hair lady and the gentleman next to her. Interesting story.. Good thing she didn't mind you following her and taking pictures.
I don't mind removing people; I think you did well as always. Thanks for sharing. |

Hi, Don,
Love this lighthouse, been there a couple times. Always very windy and lots of people.
Your image is superb; I love the details around it. I thought the open door is a plus; since it lends you some imaginations. I would have thought it was full of people inside.
The only thing I might do is to brighten the lamp area to show the lamp more.
Thanks for sharing. |

Hi, Henry,
A beautiful color mix; the blurred background made it very interesting. Nice job. I need to learn how to do it in PS.
The horizontal line bothers me; but you already figured that out to remove it. I may try to use a slightly darker background for the tabletop to give it a 3D look. |

Julie,
I also like this B/W image better than the color one. I like Henry's edits which brought out the chandelier in contrast. Thanks for sharing. |

Hi, everyone,
Thank you all for your suggestions.
I agree that bright red fence is at odds in this scene. Japanese shinto shrines have painted lots of that color for some reasons.
Andrew's edits made the picture much better. I like your methods. I also took out the pine branch near the roof ridge which I didn't see before.
