Thanks for the suggestions. After examining it closely, I realized this is not a good photo, nothing is sharp enough, except the foreground. |

I really like colors of the grass and the tree leaves, in contrast of the white boat. It's a balanced documentary photo, could be used in a time capsule. 😄

First, congratulations on your photo being selected in the Showcase! Well deserved honor!
You have sharp eye to catch the bird. Unfortunately there was no blossoms near it. I would crop some on the right hand side, leave the more focused blossoms on the left, maybe our eyes will be more drawn to the bird.. |

A beautiful bird! So much details and colors in one small picture. The best part is the eye, as if he is watching you instead of you watching him.
I might lighten the background like Henry suggested, and blur it a bit. If possible, leave more space up on the crown area.

I agree. I will heed to the advices I the future. Nowadays I think of the theme first. Before, I was very eager to press the shutter without checking the focus and the apertures. 😊|

Hi, Julie,
You are so right! I made a mistake of not adjusting the aperture when shooting this one and the focus is not in the right place.
I realized this when I got home. Haha..
Also I shared this photo by accident. I am getting ready to leave for a monthlong trip, I hope I have better photo to share next month. |
