11 Dec 25 Reply Thank you, Sheldon. The Aurora software adds the crispness as long as yu don't overdo it. Dec 16th
11 Dec 25 Comment Hi Henry: This is a really nice image in so far as it presents a lot of interesting detail and texture. I do agree that increasing contrast might give the image more impact, and I agree with Sheldon about the crop. Doors like this are great subjects to photograph and you did the right thing with the centred (symmetrical) composition. Dec 10th
11 Dec 25 Comment Hi Nenette: You have a good eye for spotting this image and the conversion brings out nice contrast and texture. My only suggestion (and it's just a personal opinion) would be to crop it a bit more so that it becomes a more longer and narrow composition, and try to bring a bit more detail into the lower right-hand corner of the outlet box. 11 Dec 25 Comment Sheldon: I really love this image. Before I retired I traveled through this tunnel at O'Hare countless times on my way out west. I only wish I had taken this shot. There's nothing I would do differently with this image other than print it, frame it, and hang it on my wall. Dec 10th
11 Dec 25 Comment Murphy: The lighting on this image is very nice and the mono conversion is excellent. There's no loss of detail in the whites. It's also nice that none of the birds have their heads turned away from the camera which sometimes happens when shooting a group of birds or animals. The image is nice and sharp throughout. Great job! Dec 10th
11 Dec 25 Comment Hi Peter: I Find your image to be an interesting "street photography" scene. The mono conversion worked well; good tonal values and contrast. I also would try to remove the man directly behind the vendor lady. The others to the right don't bother me as much. I might also consider trying to remove the signs behind her. Photoshop's Removal tool should work well for that. The crop works well. Overall, I think it's a very good image. Dec 10th
11 Dec 25 Comment A very nice scene. I've not been to Iceland; it's on my bucket list. I do think the image could use some additional detail by bringing the exposure down a bit. I think what Sheldon did with the sky adds more drama to the image. Your use of the long exposure does well with the water in the foreground. The ground in the lower left and the rocks on the right balance the cliffs on the left and right sides of the image. A nice composition. Dec 10th
11 Dec 25 Reply Thanks, Murphy. I think you're correct about the padding. I don't believe thay wear any. I apppreciate your comments. I'm hoping to photograph s gsmr on a wet field someday. The mud covered players makes some really great images. Dec 9th

42 Dec 25 Reply Thanks for the comments, Tom. I got lucky with this shot. I saw them in the field and took a few images. This one did take a lot of processing to get it to this point. Dec 28th
42 Dec 25 Reply Thanks, Tom. I think the four horses coming directly toward the camera helps the impact. Dec 17th
