Hi Michael. I think what you're seeing as noise is probably the HDR effect. I've been bringing most of my currently processed images into Aurora HDR and keeping the default settings as they are. |

Thanks, Jim. That's the first I've heard of the Shelburne Museum. I'll have to put that on my list of places to visit. |

I think that is a terrific image, Michael. The composition is excellent. It's got great color. I wouldn't change a thing in that image. |

Tom: This is a very nice image. The diffused lighting brings the colors out nicely. I would suggest cropping some from the right-hand side; up to and including that white sign post on the road. There's a nice contrast between the two different types of architecture. Horizontals and verticals are straight. i might saturate the red on the church a bit more so that it stands out even more. I'd also remove the power lines and poles from the image. This would make a nice print to hang on the wall. |

Stuart: This image comes across as almost a silhouette. I think I'd make it a complete silhouette or else bring some more detail into the shadow area of the bird. The reflection works well. Did you give any thought to removing the large clump of plant material behind the bird? What works with this image is the fact that one leg is bent as he is walking. This is much better than having both legs straight. |

Keith: This is a nice casual portrait of this young girl. The balance of flash to ambient light was done well, but I think she can be toned down just a bit. It would be nice to get rid of the car in the lower right. The gradation of the sky is very nice. You captured a really nice expression on the girl. I think that is one of the more difficult parts of portraiture, and you were successful at it. |
