42 Oct 23 Reply Thanks, Stuart. I appreciate the comment. I also thought it interesting tht the owner chose to mount them rather "crudely" but it adds to the rustic look. Oct 19th

42 Oct 23 Comment Nice shot Tom. Nice interaction between the animals and the exposure was well handled to show the texture in their skin. If this were my image I would make two adjustments. The first. clone out the pipe above the right elephant's head. The second would be to darken the background behind them (fence with foliage, and the ground). Oct 9th
42 Oct 23 Comment I agree that there is a lot of potential in this image. She has a great textured face. The pose is perfect. This was a great capture.
Having been a portrait photographer a while back I would suggest not cropping to the top of her head. If you have space in the original image, you can bring the crop higher, or better yet, bring the crop down, just into the top of her forehead. I's also remove the white button that is drawing attention. The bright sunlight on the top of her right cuff is also drawing attention. You can clone over it from farther back on her sleeve.

42 Oct 23 Comment I agree with all of Holly's comments. A minor point: it would have been nice if the one player's foot wasn't cut off at the bottom. It would also help the composition if there wee a little more room to the right of player 27's right foot. This can be easily fixed with generative Fill in Photoshop. Oct 9th
42 Oct 23 Comment There's an interesting contrast between the silos and the brick structure. I almost feel there are two separate images here. Two suggestions: remove the horizontal pipe from the brick structure. and try to straighten the perspective of the silos that appear to lean backwards. This is a personal preference and I realize that some photographers choose to keep the "keystone" in the image. Oct 9th
42 Oct 23 Comment I also like the image; especially the texture. I agree with the others who recommend removing the other mushroom from the corner of the image. Oct 9th
42 Oct 23 Reply Thanks, Holly. The barn actually has about twice as many skulls on it, but I decided to crop to those seven. And it was a fun shoot. Oct 9th
