Hi Bernie, I, too, thought it was an abstract painting at first glance. It is indeed a beautiful photo awash with colors. Congratulations on this lovely picture. |

Hi Jay, The diagonal lines made by the edge of the leaf on the left side and the large vein make for a nice composition. There is a pleasing combination of green and yellow. The holes add good contrast. I agree that a deeper DOF would have made everything sharp. |

Hi Norm, It's a beautiful photo made more stunning and dynamic by the ICM. I was at the same beautiful cathedral last week and marveled at the beautiful stained glass windows. |

The bird statue with the temple in the foreground is an imposing image. Too bad the crowd lessened the impact of the photo. I'm traveling in Europe right now and it is quite a challenge taking pictures of the important sites without throngs of people in them.

A nice simple still life in monochrome. Black and white works well with the picture. I like how the shadows of the window frames are going diagonally. |

Hi John, the overall triangular shape of the picture with the dove on the pole as the apex makes for a pleasing composition. The flying dove in the center gives a contrast point that adds interest. I like how the subject fills the frame. The picture seems not level? There's a negative space on the left side and a negative space on the right would have made the composition symmetrically balanced. |
