Your compliment motivated me to enter this image in an open call for the upcoming "Seeing America" exhibition sponsored by the Viewpoint Photographic Art Center of which I am a member. April is Photography Month here in Sacramento and the winners will be exhibited for the entire month at the Viewpoint gallery. Hopefully, this or one of the other three shots I submitted will be on display. Stay tuned. |

Very nice, Leslie. I agree with the other comments in terms of composition, clarity, color and focus. Just spot on. Since it appears to be a backlit image, the yellow in the flower pops more than it would have otherwise. Good job. |

Awesome photo, Judy. It's just oozing with mood and emotion. It almost has an apocalyptic feel to it because of the colors and the lone tree. I prefer your original crop, as well. You will lose part of the reflection if you cut too much from the bottom of the frame. Good job! |

Great photo, Gwen. In contrast to other comments, I like the richer colors your image brings out. Might be too saturated for some viewers, but I defer to your artistic interpretation. Good job. |

Another fabulous shot, Peter. I think Judy has a good suggestion. Is there more of the mountain top that you could include in the frame? Perhaps that barely noticeable area in the bottom right corner might reveal more of the mountain, as well. That could provide a little more balance and perspective. Nonetheless, a great shot as is. |

Beautiful shot, Sarita. The color, composition and focus are all spot on. I agree the little section of branch in the bottom right corner is the only distracting part of the image for me. This one is definitely worth a print. Good job. |

Very nice, Sherry. I agree with all the positive things others have had to say, especially those eyes. A just-for-fun suggestion: try cropping in a little tighter so those piercing eyes are a little more prominent. Good job. |
