Very nice, shot, Judy. You captured the moment perfectly. Sharing what you know about the feeding behavior of this bird is appreciated. I imagine it also helped you pre-visualize the shot, too. Good choice of aperture and shutter speed to create sharpness where you needed it and softer focus where you didn't. I would have liked too see just a tad more color, though. Did you make many adjustments in post processing? Excellent job, nonetheless. |

Fantastic job on this shot, Don. And your personal story makes it all the more impactful. Colors are well balanced and understated, inviting the viewer's attention to the subject. Speaking of the subject, OMG you absolutely nailed the focus. Great technical decision making with a high ISO that gave you more flexibility with the aperture and shutter speed. Dialing in Topaz in post probably elevated the sharpness of the image to a superior level. That moth seems to be looking at you with an expression that says don't bother me. Excellent job on the crop, too. Hope you are making a print of this. |

Ahhhhhhh! What a great shot. Can't say enough positive things about it. This picture is technically perfect, but more importantly to the viewer it packs a lot of emotion. Anything that raises our awareness about wildlife in a way that makes you want to go join a conservation organization is powerful and positive. Time for me to renew my membership in the National Wildlife Federation. Great job! |

Love it. Lots of personality in this shot with the swallowtail seemingly getting swallowed up by the day Lilly. Beautiful colors. Nice clean background. Great job, Leslie. |

Nice shot of the Glossy Ibis birds, Sarita. I had to do a double take to see what they were actually doing. Looks like one bird is preening the other. Nice job with the crop. Shot might have benefited by a tad more vibrance to make the colors pop a bit more. |

Nice shot, Sherry. Thanks for the background on the ship. Is this in Florida? Good idea to convert to black and white to tap into the historical nature of your subject. Only technical comment is I think your shot would have benefited by a little more contrast. |
