Cars are the Bain of my urban street photography. I go to great lengths to not capture them.... |

Cheyenne is hardly a third world country. Note how spotlessly clean the alley is. All of Wyoming's cities are like this. Going up there is like going through a time warp and popping out back in the 1970s. |

I absolutely love the symmetry of this image! I often strive to get symmetry this nice. I also like how you have processed this image, the contrast looks great. The one thing I would suggest is to copy the windows on the left to the right side to cover up the blown-out light on the right. I did a quick edit where I did that to show what I'm talking about. What do you think? |

A very nice image! I would consider a bit more contrast and burning the really bright background elements. I did a quick edit of what I'm talking about. What do you think? |

This is an interesting shot. I copied it and did some edits in Photoshop. I increased the contrast and cropped it so that the lines in the wooden fence are perfectly vertical. I also increased the clarity. I find the one white gap in the wooden fence distracting because there is no other distinct subject. Since there isn't a distinct subject I added a vignette to give the viewer a place to focus their attention. What do you think? |

This image is exceptionally good in my opinion. I've started doing street photography myself recently and I just finished the PSA Street Photography Class. I like the balance between the leaves on one side and the basket on the other. I thought it might look better if the leaves were brighter so I tried it myself and the leaves were a bit out of focus so I think your edit is best. |

This is such a nice image. I really like it. I think you are right in that the church is cut off a bit to much on the viewer's right. I think the sky looks really good the way you have it. I notice there is a little bit of a fringe around areas where bright meets dark like the church right in the middle of the image. |

I had an Olympus film camera once upon a time...
The perfect shot for black and white: a polar bear in the snow. Since this wouldn't be a PSA nature shot because of the tire tracks in the background, I would consider taking them out in Photoshop.
Here's a quick edit of what I'm thinking about. I also edited the clarity, contrast and white level a bit as well.
Being New I hope it's OK to edit other's photos in this group. My other group does it all the time. If this isn't OK just let me know. |

I'm a big fan of symmetry in images like this but off center would be a good option and I have shot this sort of image off center as well. I've been a big fan of Robert Crumb's art over the years and he draws a lot of images of wires and pipes similar to this which I've enjoyed looking at. |

Very nice. The central pillar looks like a sculpture of soles assenting to heaven. I wonder if you could edit it further to make this what's the subject. |

This is very nice. I like how you have done it. I did a quick edit of the original, not your final version, and did the following:
-Cropped it in so that the two birds are more in your face.
-Removed the birds in the background.
-Brought up the shadows particularly in the background forest.
-got rid of some blown out areas.
-adjusted the white balance of the snow so that it more pure white.
What do you think? |

Nice street photography photo. I think it needs a square crop. Also on the viewer's left there is an area where you have done a heavy handed clone which I marked in the photo I attached. A square crop would eliminate the need for this. What do you think? |

We grow orchid cactus also, one we have had over 25 years now. Ours is brilliant scarlet red. Does anyone want a cutting?
Anyway I love your photo, I love the color! I have no suggestions except to say they tend to be more impressive looking when shot at night.
Here I have attached a photo of ours. |

It's a nice photo with the reflection and I really like it. I would like to shoot this with my fisheye lens... Old trains sure are a popular subject in PSA. I don't know why it wouldn't qualify for PSA Travel. |

Robert now that I look at it you are absolutely correct. If it's a street photography / travel photography photo the people should be the subject. I think at the time I was more interested in the colors. |

It was a while ago that I entered it. I no longer enter photos into either nature or travel competitions. I don't like all the rules. |
