Hey thanks for the comment. Actually I really like the swirling effect. It's part of my personal style of photography. In fact at some point I plan to get myself a PETZVAL lens just to get more of a swirling effect. I really developed more of an appreciation for these lenses after I took the PSA "History of Photography" course. I would have one now except that I have already spent a ton of money on camera gear this year.

Every one had suggestions that I actually liked so I edited my submission accordingly. This one has greener plants and the shadow on the walkway is more realistic looking (I think). Anyway, when I submitted this image I really didn't put a lot of thought into it otherwise I might have made some of these improvements myself. |

Nice Shot. I took your finished image and increased the saturation on the red part and then brightened the area around the center of the flower. What do you think of this? |

This is an interesting photo. I wonder what it would look like in cold weather with the steam. I'm assuming that's steam coming out the top. Everything gooks great but the sky might be slightly over saturated for me. |

I think this is a great image. I kind of don't like the halo of light around the lamp. Maybe just make the lamp look lit and skip the halo. If it were me, I would just object select the lamp and then apply a yellow or orange or both filters to the lamp. I like how you darkened the areas where the trees have been trimmed in the past. The tone of the image is fantastic with the enhanced magenta in the color. |
