I really like Brenda's edit above. I think that is the way to go so I don't have anything else to add. |

I really like shooting these when I see them. I have a whole collection in fact. The only think I would suggest is removing the lens flairs and the telephone poles. The colors look great. And maybe crop out the rough snow in the foreground. Here's what I did with your image. |

I didn't notice the pillars so much but they are a tiny bit distracting to me but only when I think about it. But when I see them removed as in the updated image, I like it much better. What I notice right away is the white spot just in front of his eyes. |

Wow that great. I'm from Gatlinburg and Bud Ogle is one of my ancestors. I think the cabin is really nice in your photo but the background is a little over saturated.
Here is a photo I made of this cabin back in 2017 in the Fall. |

Looks like a great wildlife shot. I like the color of the background with the color of the fur - very complementary. |

I played around with it some more and came up with this. I think this is a little 'over cooked'. |

It really seems to work with black and white. I just installed the Photoshop plugin "TK Magic Mixer" I'll use the original of this to make a black and white and you can let me know what you think. |
